The Team

During the winter term 2014/15 we did a robotics internship where we constructed a RC car with onboard GPS and navigation. Afterwards we really wanted to continue working together and proposed to construct a POV Globe. We all study/ studied physics in Heidelberg and met during the Bachelor. Some time ago, we realized, that we might as well never grow up and that soldering LEDs is more fun than integrating around poles in the complex plane.

Our Team

But let us introduce ourselves:

Hi there!

like my colleagues I'm doing my master-studies in pyhisics, though I didn't start my master-thesis yet (coming soon!). Up to now my main domain is theoretical particle-physics, in which I did my bachelor-thesis. Also programming and simulating is a big part of my daily routine.

Concerning handicraft my skills are good, but not fully elaborated yet. This is one of the reasons for me doing this internship. Also I like puzzeling around with code and keeping improving it until it works out as I want to. Seeing the result is amazing!
Blinking and shining objects were always fascinating to me. So it was obvious to do some project in order to control them. And really: It is a cool thing!

My free time I'm spendig doing sports like running, Capoeira or climbing, as well as relaxing with friends, family or my girlfriend. ;)
